Exhibition

On February 16, 2008 an exhibition of text messages from this website was held in Canberra, Australia.

Twenty-six messages were designed as A3 and A2 sized posters. These were displayed throughout the Old Schoolhouse Gallery.

Each poster was accompanied by a label explaining the story behind the message. These were published in an exhibition catalogue which can be downloaded here.

The Joy of Txt exhibition was designed and curated by Anthony Calvert. It is the first known exhibition of mobile phone text messages in the world.

A selection of images from the exhibition are displayed below. Anthony was also interviewed by ABC radio and a copy will soon be available for download.
