Joy of Txt began in 2002 as a collection of personal text messages.
In 2007 these were published in a book and on this website. In February 2008 a selection of these messages were designed as posters for an exhibition in Canberra, Australia. This was the first-known exhibition of text messages and text message culture.
The website has since been expanded to include several hundred text messages from people all over the world. Submissions are more than welcome. Please send your most memorable texts here.
